Leadership often carries a heavy weight, and as the President of Richdel navigating an ERP evaluation and implementation alongside a management transition, I am reminded of the call to be a Kingdom-minded leader. This journey requires a foundation that is Christ-centered, biblically focused, and obedience driven rather than one based on prosperity teaching. In the middle of evaluating software and onboarding a new team, I find an anchor in Romans 1:16-17 and Habakkuk 2:4, which remind us that the righteous shall live by faith. This faith is not a passive belief but an action-oriented commitment to the authority of Jesus Christ and the practical application of His Word.
My current academic pursuits as an MBA candidate at UNR, including pressing group project deadlines and a daunting 30,000-word final paper, serve as a modern “light affliction” that tests my endurance. Even though the outward self may feel the strain of these responsibilities, scripture promises that the inward man is being renewed day by day. By viewing these challenges through a biblical lens, I can maintain an unshakable identity in Christ, ensuring that my sense of purpose is rooted in spiritual authority rather than academic or professional status. We hold the treasure of leadership in earthen vessels so that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of ourselves.
To truly live by faith amidst the complexities of a corporate overhaul and a rigorous degree program is to choose a life of flourishing, enjoyment, and purpose in a relationship with God. This involves a process of self-denial and spiritual formation where I seek to fear and serve the Lord with all my heart while abiding in His commands. True success in leadership is not found in a formula for impact or a mere measure of gain, but in the transformation that comes from doing the right thing and leading with godly influence. As I move through these deadlines and transitions, I am grateful for my salvation and the power that works through me, trusting that His grace is sufficient for every project and every decision. I’m still work in process, Amen!
